İSTEAMDER (Istanbul STEAM Science, Technology, Education, Culture and Art Association) is a civil society organization founded by teachers and academics that develops national and international projects in the field of education.
Our association works to develop and implement projects in STEAM education, science, technology, education, culture and the arts; to promote project-based learning; to protect cultural and social values; to pass on history, civilization and cultural heritage to future generations; and in the fields of education, health, sports and social responsibility.
In cooperation with public institutions, universities and civil society organizations, we also carry out work on developing interdisciplinary education models, designing technology-integrated learning environments, enhancing teacher competencies, spreading a culture of science, running social projects for children, young people, women, people with disabilities and disadvantaged groups, strengthening the family structure, migration and integration processes, combating addiction, women’s rights and raising public awareness.
In cooperation with the Ministry of National Education, universities, local governments, public institutions and international organizations, our association organizes workshops, teacher trainings, science festivals, culture and art events, periodical publications, research and international projects.
